When I saw this meme, I knew I had to do a version of it, because it so accurately embodies the struggle of aphasia (word-finding difficulty) with brain fog.
I’m not sure if it’s been proven, but I think the neural pruning hypothesis for part of brain fog makes a lot of sense. I feel myself following the pathways in my brain, expecting the word I need to be right there, but it’s, just, missing? and then I have to try to find another word to approximate it even though I know it’s not the right word and I’m just shoving a bunch of remotely similar words in the spot hoping it makes sense.

This is perfect. ❤️
I hate the symptom but love your depiction of it.
