the figure in the manila bookarmk is composed of dripping dark dark green ooze, and negative space. they have a bit of ooze on their head and ear, a face of concern/pain, a neck of tenction and shoulders, and an emptiness where their heart should be. the ooze continues down their arms asymmetrically. the ooze picks up and drips droplets again around the hands and wrists, at the hips, again asymmetrically, and in one foot. the other a long stream falls down the leg and catches the foot. the background of the bookmark is smudged horizontal-ish stripes of greenish yellow brown , almost like the world is moving past the figure much faster in an unfathomable blur, while they are taking one tiny, ever so slow step we can barely perceive -- if we squeeze our eyes, perhaps their left foot is lifted slightly and their left arm is bent, right arm is back further? or if that just the shape of the ooze?
